LENS Living Lab International Events in 2017
PM&KM Festival in Odense, 2-3. October 2017
In the last ten years The Society of Danish Engineers, IDA, in collaboration with LENS Living Lab organized a creative and innovative event in Odense, Denmark, where Project Managers and knowledge workers meet, exchange ideas and experiences for the further development of a shared vision of future trends in Project Management and Innovation.
The form of the meeting is a combination of seminars and workshops guided by experienced coaches. So the participants will learn from the exchange and development of concrete ideas, but also from how the working group process is executed.
The event has lead to significant new partnerships between new innovative start-up’s, Virtual collaboration between globally distributed partners, new business models for handling complex virtual projects and programs as well as new knowledge about Project Management.

The agenda, in brief, will be:
Monday 2nd. October:  High-Performance virtual project teams and innovation  communities
The objective of the workshop is to discuss: how globally distributed project teams crossing cultural borderlines facing new technologies, can succeed in effective communication on personal, technical and organizational levels.
Virtual global organizations, Cultural barriers, and opportunities, coaching of teams, technical barriers and opportunities, communication, the case from European/Asian collaborative project.
Tuesday 3rd October:  The Project efficient organization and virtual   communities
The objective of the workshop is to discuss: How globally distributed and virtual organizations can meet challenges from new radical changes in technology, political trends as anti- globalization, disruptive business models. Will the virtual project oriented organization based on knowledge exchange and collaborative innovation across national borderlines be an answer?
The Virtual Project Office as a core node for knowledge exchange and execution of innovative projects and programs. From Project Management to    portfolio& Program management, from phase modeling to agile project execution, the Project Excellent model as an assessment, learning and developing a tool.
