ProResearch Event Report
 

‘Research projects for the development of science and business’
 Cracow, 9-10th December 2013

  The second edition of the ProResearch Event and workshops for young managers of research projects was organized on 9-10th December 2013 at the AGH University of Science and Technology in Cracow. Leading theme was the importance of research projects for the development of science and business in the context of new financial perspective for 2014-2020. Highly advanced and substantive discussions and lectures draw attention to the need for enhanced cooperation between science and business, necessary to raise the level of professionalization of management of research projects in Poland. Also the process of creating well-defined project team in research projects, as an important success factor has been discussed. ProResearch Event became a platform for exchange of knowledge and opinions of different sectors’ representatives involved in research projects, thus giving the opportunity to share best practices and experiences. The event gathered over 100 participants from Poland, Slovenia, the Netherlands and Germany. With unrivaled quality, ProResearch Event has been permanently inscribed into the map of nationwide events undertaking the theme of research project management.
ProResearch Event was organized by the ProResearch Foundation from Poland, AGH University of Science and Technology and Lens Living Lab – international cluster gathering industrial organizations from all over the world.

SITRAC System

This collaboration platform partners developed and start to market the unique solution titled SITRAC System, which can be used for monitoring and controlling of different mobile and high demanded logistics systems like rescue and the fire brigade operations during large fires, rescue actions in case of natural disasters, rescue operations in the mountains etc. The main innovation is underpinned by integration of different navigation, internet, mobile and radio operating technologies which allows the introduction of innovative  functionalities and 100% security in term of connectivity, data and information exchange and controlling.




CENCEN System

CENCEN System presents the new cost effective and user friendly solution for remote monitor and controlling of different heating systems. The application is flexible and designed to support different types of heating systems. It is based on the use of standard tablet computers, purpose designed set of sensors and microelectronic system which can be simply installed  nearly on every heating system. The market introduction was in January 2014

International Collaborative R&D Program "Smart Machine"

Project Management is Recognized as an Official Public Profession

This project was  initiated by  Klaus Pannenbaecker and supported by KM FEST International Core Group.
Klaus quoted "I think it is now the right time to ask our national government to recognize Project Management as an official public profession!"
